Fluid Mechanics

In this section, we will apply the conservation framework that we developed for a scalar to momentum to derive the analogy for Newton’s second law in a (non rotating) fluid.

Recall the basic idea behind the conservation framework – if there is a divergence in the flux field, then the concentration of a fluid property will decrease over time.
