서강대학교 영문과 졸업.  미국 미조리주 쎄인트 루이스 대학교에서 영문학 석사과정 수료.  중국, 한국, 미국에서 관찰한 풍경, 인물, 생활모습을 주제로 다루는 시집으로 “Long Walks on Short Days” 가 있다.   단편과 시가 켄연리뷰 (The Kenyon Review)등 미국 최고 문학지에 발표되었고 에밀리 딕킨스, 윌리암 포크너, 오헨리 상등에 최종작품으로 선정되었다.  책소개회와 다음 작품의 주제인 한국 위안부들에 대한 강연 초대에 응하여 한국문화와 역사를 전파하는 작업을 계속한다.
