4 Stephanie Esteban

This is the story of Stephanie Esteban, a freshman at the University of Washington-Tacoma. Her story addresses the issue of imposter syndrome. Stephanie shares her experience of going through school and the feeling of being seen as inadequate when compared to her peers. She further explains why some people tend to feel like an “imposter” and how this feeling can persist through the college experience. Stevie’s feelings are not isolated at the University of Washington, but they are shared with many others in the academic setting. She hopes that by telling her story her peers understand that they are not alone in feeling such way.
