4 Daniel Ensley

Daniel Ensley, earned his bachelor’s degree from UW Tacoma in 2019, He shares his personal story by centering the importance of community. Daniel recounts his experience of what it is to grow up a trans-man of color, as well as being a first-generation college student. He shares how he navigated school and family life, and explains how certain experiences have shaped who he is today. Through his reflections, Daniel hopes to share the importance of finding your community and loving one self.
