2 Erica Juarez-Ramos

This Telling Our Stories video tells the story of Erica Juarez-Ramos where she describes her educational journey as a first-generation college student. She further discusses how her experience as a Criminal Justice major who is graduating in 2020 has not been easy. Erica explains how her experiences as a Latina at UW-T have made her realize that there isn’t a lot of representation Latinx community or of other minority groups on campus. In sharing her struggles, Erica points that mentors and mentorship impacted her educational journey, which has resulted in a better outlook of life.
