Introduction
The Foundations of Clinical Medicine is the longitudinal clinical skills course that will prepare you for success in your clerkships. Over the course of the Foundations Phase, you will learn and practice:
- Patient communication and interviewing skills
- Physical exam
- Clinical reasoning
- Documenting your findings
- Oral case presentations
You will also reflect with your colleagues and mentors on your development as a physician – the strengths, skills, successes and challenges you bring.
