This video speaks to my journey of how I began to understand the ways racism and social inequality operates in society. Through the video, I discuss how I began to learn about and understand the way oppression is experienced by BIPOC communities. I point to how in my college education I started to realize the ways social inequality works in the U.S. In putting together my video, I understand the importance of storytelling and the impact it can have if done right. It can help the audience develop empathy for the person or issue being addressed, while educating people in an enticing way.
