Lesson 9 Savvy Start Projects

While ADDIE is the tried and true method for e-learning development, we want to do something more agile. And that means using SAM through the Savvy Start process.

For the purposes of this course, the Savvy Start process involves the iterative design phase:

Iterative Design Phase

Round 1 (Week 8)

Round 2 (Week 9)

Design – started in the project proposal
Prototype – the initial prototype storyboard
Review (Evaluate) – peer review feedback

(re)Design – based on peer review feedback
Prototype
– revised prototype storyboard
Review (Evaluate) – group discussion

This lesson, you will complete your revised prototype storyboards and offer more feedback to your peers as a round 2 of feedback and review. You will also create a Savvy Start summary report to document the design decisions made in your revised prototype.
