The Health Sciences Library is located in the Magnuson Health Sciences Center, about a 10 minute walk or roll from central campus. The main entrance is on the third floor of the “T” wing and is accessible by stair or elevator. This library serves undergraduates, graduate students, staff, and faculty in the health sciences disciplines, including the Schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, and Social Work.

The Health Sciences Library is a study and learning center and its collection includes hundreds of online research databases, thousands of print and electronic books and journals related to the biomedical and health sciences, clinical reference tools, and evidence-based healthcare resources.

This library has spaces for all students to gather to study and learn. On the third floor, there are lots of reading tables and easy access to digital toolkits and research guides from the PCs in the computer labs and open spaces. There’s also a collection of anatomical models so you can study with a skeleton or a spleen!

Screen readers and screen magnification tools are available on all of the Windows computers, and accessibility kits are available at the information desk. Adjustable-height desks are available on both floors and in one of the study rooms.

On the quiet-study second floor, you’ll find comfy couches and low tables, reading tables for focused study, the biomedical and health sciences journal and book collections, reservable group study rooms, and smartboards. In addition, printers and scanners are available for use. Plug in your phone at a charging station, refill your water bottle, and settle in to study!

To get to health sciences research databases and online books and journals, see the Health Sciences Research Guide.
