About My Personas
The personas featured in this portfolio are grounded in my experience at Monroe High School in Monroe, Washington. As an institution dedicated to academic excellence, Monroe High prepares students for both higher education and career readiness through a diverse range of programs, including STEM and the arts. The school fosters an inclusive, engaging environment that supports the development of every learner. These personas reflect the school’s mission to equip students with the skills needed for academic success and lifelong achievement, and they inform my learner-centered approach to instructional design.
Research Method
The learner persona information presented here was developed through authentic relationships I built with students in my classroom. By fostering a foundation of trust and mutual respect, I gained valuable insights through ongoing interactions and careful observation. This approach allowed me to better understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and interests. To protect their privacy and identity, all student names have been changed.
