Book Title: A Glossary of Temporalities: Keywords from Honors 211C
Subtitle: In Winter 2024, Honors 211C met to consider and discuss different answers to the fundamental question, "What is time?". In doing so they considered scientific answers, the neurologic, cosmological, and geological, and cultural answers, clocks, labor, reproduction, etc. This glossary represents an attempt to summarize much of the key terminology and concepts in the course. Ultimately, students were left to define time for themselves--arriving at better answers than Augustine's much quoted response to the question: “What, then, is time? If no one asks me, I know what it is. If I wish to explain it to him who asks me, I do not know.”

Book Description
This book represents co-created knowledge in the form of keywords about the nature of time. The students in this class wrote multiple definitions and edited together the entries. Their instructor, Francesca Colonnese, has collated their work so as to create a mini-textbook about the many ways the student engaged with thinking about time.
