This section will go over the various rooms and spaces open to UWSOM MD students. Our site has a number of tenets beyond just UWSOM.

Most of the study rooms on the first floor are for Gonzaga students during business hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) except for one room near the entrance to the anatomy lab suite that is a UW study room. Outside of business hours study rooms are open to any and all students.

840 Building Second Floor

All the classrooms in the 840 building for the UWSOM Spokane site are on the second floor. We also have classrooms in the SIERR building.

All classrooms we have leased, include a dividing wall that can be open or closed. In the large classrooms when divided the rooms have numbers, in the small rooms when divided the rooms are called A or B.

840 Building Third Floor

The third floor of our building has an outdoor patio, a few open study nooks, a prayer and meditation room and an office suite for the UW staff and faculty.

All UW staff and faculty are located in the office suite.

• Staff members have hybrid work schedules but one of us is always around during the business day. If you need help with anything please come find us.
• Faculty are often only in office when they are teaching that day. If you want to work with a specific faculty member its best to reach out to them via email.
