The Engineering Library is located on Stevens Way, between Loew Hall and the Interdisciplinary Engineering Building.
The building’s proximity to the College of Engineering makes it a popular study spot for aspiring engineers, but all students are welcome to use the Engineering Library.
On the first floor, you’ll find computers, comfy chairs, and whiteboard tables with hanging outlets to power all of your devices. There are also a printer, scanner, and Zoom pods for private calls and online classes.
At the first-floor help desk, you can check out books and computer adapters and get expert research help from engineering librarians.
On the second, third, and fourth floors of the library, accessible by stairs or elevator, you’ll find the library’s extensive collection of engineering journals, books, technical reports, dissertations, and more.
There are reservable group study rooms and a computer lab with access to software like Autodesk, Labview, Maple, Python, R, and Solidworks.
In addition to all of the great resources in the Engineering Library, there are lots of online engineering databases, journals, e-books, and more that you can access from anywhere at any time. See the Engineering Research Guide for links to these resources.
Did you know?
The fourth floor features a cantilevered study space that is literally hanging from the ceiling and some great views of Lake Washington!
