Object Design
“Hive Dancing at the Blue Dahlia Cafe” is the Surface Design Assn challenge piece that inspired the creation of “Mielificent”.First finished sketch of Mielificent. I still am considering using the chunky shoes instead of the slippers.Final sketch of the full costume. This is the first thing I drew on my nearly new iPad with my brand new iPencil.Final sketches of both “crown” designs. Upper left: the bee-hive hairdo was one of the first ideas. I had trouble figuring out the engineering. I would still like to try making it. Lower right: the hollow log was Mark’s misunderstanding. But I knew instantly how to make it.
