This guide is also meant to be personal and interactive. Throughout the book you will find sections labeled “Explore & Engage” containing practical exercises, thought-provoking questions, and real-world scenarios for you to apply. There are also “Self-Discovery” sections included where you can assess your strengths, chart your growth, reflect on progress, and set goals for skill development.

This guide is meant to focus on your specific skills, goals, and path in people analytics. It does not seek to answer “What is people analytics?” in an academic way, nor does it teach all of the possible techniques or methods you may need to use to implement people analytics – there are plenty of great books out there that already do that (feel free to check out the resources at the end of this guide and at heatherwhiteman.com/PACareerGuide).
