General Technique Tips

1. Clamp the material into the vice. Protect the material from the vice marks by either clamping the material you intend to throw away into a vice and wrapping the material in metal before tightening down the vice.
2. Use a blade with 32 teeth per inch and ensure teeth are pointing away from you.
3. While sawing, do not press the saw blade on the material on the return stroke.
