Over the course of your career, you can expect to see tens of thousands of patients, and your communication skills can make a difference to each of them. Effective communication has been shown to improve many health outcomes, to make diagnosis more efficient and accurate, and most importantly, to make patients feel cared for. In immersion, you’ll learn key techniques and communication skills for your first patient interview, and you’ll continue to practice and build on these skills for the rest of your career.
