About the Author
Robin M. Baumgartner is a dedicated professional with a passion for fostering STEM education and youth development. As the 4-H Science Programs Coordinator and Curriculum Team Lead at the University of Idaho, Robin plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative science programs for youth across the state.
With a background in education and program management, Robin brings a wealth of experience to her role. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Creative Writing and Business Administration from the College of Idaho and a M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Idaho, both of which have equipped her with a strong foundation in educational theory and practice.
Throughout her career, Robin has demonstrated a commitment to empowering young people through experiential learning opportunities. She has collaborated with educators, community partners, and stakeholders to develop engaging STEM programs that inspire curiosity and critical thinking skills in youth. She actively seeks to create safe, inclusive, and accessible learning environments for all students, striving to ensure that 4-H science programs reach under-served communities and provide opportunities for all youth to explore their interests in STEM.
Robin completed the E-learning Instructional Design certificate at the University of Washington in June 2024.
