About the Author

Michael Duro is an outstanding educator who is excited to transition to an instructional designer. Duro taught English for 15 years and is highly regarded for his creativity and mastery of content. Creating compelling lessons is his specialty as he finds ways to capture his audience and deliver authentic learning experiences. Throughout his career, Duro has implemented technology. At his school, each student was assigned a laptop to use for the year. Duro designed unique online materials for the course. As a valuable team member, Duro looks forward to collaborating with others. His colleagues would say he is great at offering solutions and taking initiative to make improvements.

Not only has teaching prepared him for being an instructional designer but, he has educational credentials as well. He earned a Master’s Degree in English education with concentration on curriculum and development. Duro completed the E-learning Instructional Design certificate at the University of Washington in June 2024. He has demonstrated his skills with e-learning technology.
