Whodunit Project Plan
Topic and Goals
The topic will be Whodunit, a lesson about crime scene investigation and analysis. Doing the complete module would not be feasible for this course, so I will be creating a single lesson in Storyline 360 that will focus on how to write crime scene notes. Topics other than writing crime scene notes will be presented if they are necessary background. Several multimedia principles will be applied, the specific principles to be applied will be determined as the scenario is created (in the form of crime scene notes). At least one, maybe more of Allen’s Success Strategies will be used. Illustrations and characters will be Storyline built in characters or obtained/produced in Freepik AI. The audience will be learners in a forensic science class on crime scene analysis at state university. The primary goal is that after completing the learning experience students will be able to create crime scene notes, and then use those notes to solve the crime and send the murderer to jail.
Proposed Elements
- I will produce a functioning Storyline module about crime scene investigation focusing on crime scene notes. Learners will practice taking crime scene notes (first part of module) and then use those notes to solve the crime (complete module). This module will be uploaded and publicly available.
- I will upload the Portfolio and have it publicly available. The portfolio will have a link to my LinkedIn account, when I update my LinkedIn account which will have my resume.
- A list of milestones you need to reach before June and a planned schedule/calendar/timeline for when each will be completed.
