Introduction

In Chile, tea or dinner time is known as “hora de once”, an intimate instance of Chilean families, where good food, good conversations and homely affection are enjoyed; An unbeatable place to experience Chile’s cultural richness. For this special occasion, it is very common for a type of sandwich called “Completo” to be prepared. It’s like a hot dog, but it’s more than a hot dog: an infinite number of ingredients from Chilean and international cuisine can be combined on top of the sausage.

I love getting to know new places, new people, new stories, new ways of looking at life. The digital world and globalization allow us to be citizens of the world, a place where we can freely access the cultural richness of societies. I have always tried to push the boundaries of what is possible with the tools I have, and why not make a little piece of my country’s culture available to the world? The purpose of this project is to train on how to prepare one of the most traditional dishes of Chilean cuisine: the Chilean “Completo”. I invite you to get to know Chile from your palate.
