The Analysis stage reflects a close observation of the main elements of the project:

Part 1: Project Scope

1. The project will be called More than a Hot Dog: The Chilean “Completo”.
2. The project will be a complete eLearning course.
3. I will provide the complete eLearning training course.

Part 2: Background

1. I have been lucky enough to meet and work with people from different parts of the world. When I have had closer relations with them, it is common to organize a lunch or dinner where the host prepares a plate of typical food from his country. In this way, people materially share their culture. The challenge I set myself is: How to make it possible for this enriching instance to be massive and attractive? How can I bring one of the most typical dishes of my country to the table of anyone in the world?
2. The objective of the Project is to provide access to any internet user to the necessary information to be able to prepare a Chilean-style hot dog, knowing what this sandwich is and identifying its different varieties.
3. The target audience is people who have sufficient skills to handle and cook food.
4. On successfully completing the course, participants will be able to:
   • List the basic ingredients used to prepare a Completo
   • Identify the different types of ingredients used to prepare different kinds of Completo.
   • Recognize the differences between the types of Completo.
   • Practice how to prepare a kind of Completo of your choice.
5. The learning objectives will be measured by completing a knowledge-check and also by an interactive activity where the user will be able to select different ingredients to prepare the types of Completo learned, in addition to being able to create their own recipes.

Part 3: Design Approach

Part 3: Design Approach

1. The course will be fully online, asynchronous and self-paced.
2. Users will be in different parts of the world, with different time zones.
3. The course will have 3 sections:
   • What is a Completo?
   • Types of Completo
   • Preparing a Completo
4. The course will be offered in Articulate Review 360 platform and created using Articulate Suite (Rise 360 and Storyline 360). It can also be exported to be uploaded to any LMS platform as a SCORM file or HTML5 web file.
5. I will ask questions among some friends and co-workers, both Chilean and foreign, regarding the interests associated with learning experiences of new cultures.
6. For the development of this course, I will work individually, fulfilling the roles of Subject Matter Expert, Instructional Designer and Graphic Designer.

Part 4: Implementation

1. The target launch date will be in June 2024, mediante UW pressbooks.
2. his project responds to Mentor training project approval.
3. The time and budget constraint are important, because I will be fulfilling several roles at the same time. At the beginning of this project, the initial topic was sexual harassment, but I realized that I could develop a training course that would generate a greater impact on internet users.
4. All the resources for the course development are available.
5. While the training course will be very simple, its development could become quite complex. From my experience as a learning experience designer, you have to be very careful mainly in the creation of the interactive activity.
6. A review will be conducted every 6 months to update the course content.
