Introduction

This brief portfolio represents an e-learning project that was created as part of the University of Washington E-learning Instructional Design certificate. And is the sole design of Alejandra Rodas Vasco.

This project focuses on designing a self-paced e-learning course titled Helping a Parent Downsize: A Practical and Emotional Guide. Created in Rise 360, the course supports adult children as they navigate the complex process of helping an aging parent transition to a smaller home or new living situation. The content combines emotional readiness, practical planning, and real-world decision-making through interactive tools, scenario-based learning, and a personalized downsizing plan.
