Design and Development

This e-learning course is designed for newly hired medical receptionists of urgent care facilities and covers the recognition of potentially life-threatening symptoms, making judgement calls on when to notify qualified medical staff members of potentially life-threatening symptoms, and the appropriate front-desk emergency procedures. The course includes three interactive modules, knowledge checks, a job aid, and a scenario-based assessment as a final judgment-based evaluation.
I designed the course using Articulate Storyline 360, incorporating adult learning principles to engage learners. Development followed the ADDIE model, with iterative feedback from medical professionals. The course is fully asynchronous, self-paced, and designed for accessibility on desktop and mobile devices.
