Before the Block (Course Preparation)

All block planning is done in the 9 months leading up to the block start, utilizing the information gleaned during the previous iteration of the block’s evaluation (Lessons Learned) process. The Block Learning Objectives (BLOs), session titles, Session Learning Objectives (SLOs), schedule, assessment, content, and other associated tasks are completed during this phase. This phase is highlighted by three milestone meetings: Lockdown, 2-month check-in, and 1-month check-in.
