10 Faculty Evaluations and Communications
Blocks and faculty are formally evaluated by students at the end of each block. Individual faculty evaluations can be used in promotion packets. Block evaluations get used in the development of the next iteration of the course. As well, faculty receive formal thank you letters for their contribution to the development and implementation of the block.
Faculty & Course Evaluations
Block evaluations and instructor evaluations get sent out to students one to two weeks before the last day of the block. Evaluations typically remain open for two-three weeks. Once the evaluations close, the evaluation team begin processing and analyzing the data collected from students. Evaluation results typically get shared with block leadership and curriculum leadership 1-2 weeks after the block ends. Results are shared via OneDrive, and you will receive an email with a link once access is available. Approximately one week after results have been shared with leadership on OneDrive, individual instructors from the block will receive an automated email notification from our evaluation system with directions for them on how to login to view their personal results. The evaluation team then create the formal block evaluation summary report after all data has been analyzed and processed. The evaluation summary report is one of the documents that gets reviewed during the Lesson’s Learned meetings.
