Abi Aguilar Romero (she/her)
Abi speaks both Spanish and English. Her hometown is Burien, Washington. She is majoring in Culture, Literature, and Arts and will graduate in the summer. Her favorite classes are Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies (GWSS). She enjoys drinking a Matcha latte any chance she gets, reading Suzanne Collins novels, and watching horror films.
Binta is double majoring in Law, Economics, Public Policy, and Gender, Women, & Sexuality Studies with a minor in Human Rights. She speaks English but grew up surrounded by languages such as Wolof and Fula. Her hometown is Everett, Washington. Binta loves to journal, read books, listen to R&B, and relax with her cat Kiggy.

Cathy Dunlap (she/her)
Cathy is majoring in Global Studies. Her first language is Karamojong, but she is also surrounded by English, Acholi, Leb Abwor, Turukana, Luganda, Kiswahili, and Ateso. Cathay’s hometown is Kotido, Uganda. Cathy enjoys dancing, all Ugandan cultural dances, Music, cultural exhibitions, concerts, event management, public speaking, leadership roles, trying new foods, sharing diverse cultures, and traveling.

Greg is originally from West Seattle, Washington and is majoring in Conservation and Restoration Science. He speaks English and enjoys the smell of the sea as it brings him joy.
Angel Herrera (she/her)

Isra Ismail (she/her)
Isra is a Health Studies major from Seattle, Washington. She grew up surrounded by the languages of Somali and English. Isra loves to try new foods and drinks, watch documentaries, and spend quality time with her friends and family.
Omen is majoring in Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies and speaks English. They are a Queer and disabilities rights activist who enjoys punk rock music, house shows, and their current favorite artist is Lauren Jane Grace. Omen has a 5-year-old cat whom they love dearly. They garden to help provide food for others and are COVID-conscious, as they have an autoimmune disorder and long COVID it’s also just the right thing to do. Free Palestine.

Andres Jr. Rodriguez Sanchez is majoring in Psychology. He is from Puyallup, Washington and grew up speaking Spanish. Andres is active on a computer and loves to listen and play all types of music.

Esme is majoring in Biology and speaks Spanish and English. She is from Northgate, Washington. She likes baking and has a cat named Figaro. Esme also loves music.
Amelia Smeby (she/her)
Amelia is majoring in Psychology and Neuroscience, and her hometown is Brier, Washington, but she moved to Ferndale, Washington during high school. Some fun facts about her are that she hopes to pursue a Doctorate in Nurse Midwifery at Seattle University after she receives her bachelor’s degree. Additionally, she can play six different instruments and is learning the drums and the saxophone. She is self-taught. Her favorite song is “Misty”, covered by Marty Robbins.

Anna Wright (she/they)
Anna is majoring in Conservation & Restoration Science (BS) and Global Studies(BA), with a minor in Global Information Systems. She grew up in Woodinville, WA. Her career goal after finishing her education is to work in research for giraffe conservation in Africa. She is thrilled to be participating in a study abroad program of Giraffe Ecology and Conservation in Kimana, Kenya at the Amboseli National Park at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro in July 2025.
